The National Weather Service in Wilmington has extended the
* Flood Warning for...
Shelby County in west central Ohio...
Logan County in west central Ohio...
Northern Union County in central Ohio...
* Until 100 PM EDT Wednesday.
* At 419 PM EDT, local law enforcement and emergency management
officials have reported that flooding is ongoing, with the most
significant flooding occurring across portions of northern Shelby
and northern Logan counties. Road closures are still being
reported in Shelby, Logan, and Union counties. Additional rainfall
over the next few hours may continue to pose a threat for
additional flooding.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kettlersville, Botkins, Jackson Center, Anna, Belle Center,
Lakeview, Russells Point, Huntsville, Big Springs, West Mansfield,
Essex, Byhalia, Somersville, Richwood, Lewistown, Fort Loramie,
Sidney, Lake Loramie State Park, Bellefontaine and Zanesfield.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, including the
following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN, Franklin
IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN, and Wayne. In
Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant,
Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In Ohio,
Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont,
Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH,
Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan,
Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble,
Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union OH, and Warren.
* Through Thursday evening.
* While only isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected late
tonight into Wednesday morning, any heavy rainfall could
produce localized flash flooding. More widespread showers and
thunderstorms are then expected from Wednesday afternoon through
Thursday and the risk for flash flooding will continue through
this time.

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.
